By viewing our website and submitting your personal information to us either directly through this website or any other third-party job board/website, you consent to the use and disclosure of your information as detailed in this policy. Your information will be collected by Anila Recruitment for its own use and any backup data held offside will be saved for a limited time. Personal information may be held on portable work devices such as mobile phones, laptop, computer, tablet or in work diaries managed by Consultants at Anila Recruitment.

Information we collect about you

The kind of personal information that we collect from you will depend on how you use the website. The personal information which We collect and hold about you may include. When you apply for a position with Anila Recruitment or submit your CV for us to review, the personal information we may o collect from you includes but not limited to; criminal records, reference checks as well as general information for example, home address and a contact phone number. We will only collect information required to meet the functions of our recruitment agency. We will collect information to establish and understand your suitability for work and eligibility to perform the role, or for any other legislative or regulatory requirements relating to a position being recruited for by Anila Recruitment. Criminal history checks and checks relating to working with Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults may also be conducted or obtained with regards to a specific position that you are being considered for.

Information we collect about you

  • Contact Information (e.g email address ,Linkedin, Home address, Phone number)
  • Documents that allow Anila Recruitment to identify you (e.g legal name, birth certificate, licence, passport)
  • Information relating to previous employment, education and qualifications, professional relationships or volunteering experience (e.g references, CV, formal qualifications, Working with Children Checks, Criminal Check)
  • Immigration documentation that supports with verifying legal rights and permits to work in Australia (e.g evidence of Citizenship, Visa or other work-related Permits and documentation)
  • Any additional Documentation which is required to meet the legislative or regulatory requirements of a position (e.g proof of COVID-19 vaccination)

If you are unable to provide information for any reason, or inaccurate information is provided on your behalf, this may limit the services we provide to you. 

Use and disclosure of information

Anila Recruitment will collect, use and disclose information about you in order to perform our business services.

Anila Recruitment may disclose information to third parties we engage in order to provide our services, including contractors and service providers used for data processing, data analysis, customer satisfaction surveys, information technology services and support, website maintenance or development, printing, archiving, mail-outs, and market research.

Holding Information

Anila Recruitment stores information in paper-based files or other electronic record keeping methods in secure databases (including trusted third-party storage providers based in Australia). We take steps to destroy or de-identify information that we no longer require.

Accessing or updating your personal information

You will not be charged for making a request to access your personal information, but you may be charged for the reasonable time and expense incurred in compiling information in response to your request.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, use, or disclose is accurate, complete and up to date. You can help us to do this by letting us know if you notice errors or discrepancies in information, we hold about you and letting us know if your personal details change.

However, if you consider any personal information, we hold about you is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading you are entitled to request correction of the information. After receiving a request from you, we will take reasonable steps to correct your information.

  • As an employment placement service must not charge a job seeker a fee for the purpose of finding the job seeker employment; and
  • As an employment placement service must not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct (such as advertising a position as being available when the agency knows no such position exists or knowingly giving misleading information to a job seeker about the nature of a position)
